We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant with strong Food & Beverage (F&B) industry experience to manage and oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in Arabic and English and have solid experience in financial reporting, cost control, inventory accounting, budgeting, and managing an accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Accounting Department.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor F&B food costs, inventory, wastage, purchasing, and cost variances.
• Review branch/outlet sales, POS transactions, and revenue reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, operating expenses, budgets, and financial performance.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and management reports.
• Ensure proper inventory valuation and reconciliation between physical stock and accounting records.
• Strengthen financial controls across restaurant/outlet operations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Stores, and other departments.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company financial policies.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Management.
• Supervise, guide, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience within the F&B / Restaurant industry is mandatory.
• Previous experience as a Chief Accountant, Senior Accountant, or similar supervisory role.
• Fluent in Arabic and English – Mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of F&B costing, inventory control, food cost analysis, POS reconciliation, and multi-outlet accounting.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/accounting systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
• Qatar/GCC experience is preferred.
• Candidates currently available in Qatar with valid QID and NOC/transferable sponsorship are preferred.
