Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a Procurement Officer with 1–2 years of experience to support sourcing, purchasing, supplier coordination, and tender preparation within a fast-paced event management environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate tenders, RFQs, RFPs, and quotation requests. for submission to the client.
• Must be experienced in preparing tender documentations and proposal submissions for the Client.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
• Request and compare quotations and prepare comparison sheets and purchase orders.
• Follow up on orders, deliveries, and supplier requirements.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier databases.
• Coordinate with Project and Operations teams on procurement needs.
• Ensure purchases meet required specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
• Support urgent procurement requirements for events and projects.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Procurement or Purchasing.
• Experience in tender preparation is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Qatar suppliers and local market pricing is an advantage.
• Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid Qatar residency is preferred.
