Position: Floor Supervisor (Supermarket / Retail)

Experience Required

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Supermarkets, Hypermarkets, or Retail in Qatar (Mandatory)

Language Requirements

• Arabic, English, and Hindi (Must be able to handle all three languages)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain store Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Assign dedicated floor sections and manage staff rotation effectively
• Conduct routine shelf audits and ensure proper FIFO stock rotation
• Create section-wise duties and ensure staff accountability
• Plan promotional offers for slow-moving inventory in coordination with purchasing
• Oversee staff attendance, scheduling, and workplace discipline
• Maintain visual merchandising and floor cleanliness standards
• Provide regular staff feedback, evaluations, and engagement
• Act as a communication bridge between management and store staff
• Ensure efficient inventory management for fast, slow, dead, and damaged stock
• Identify and execute visual display and product showcase improvements

Candidate Profile

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Supermarket, Hypermarket, or Retail operations in Qatar
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Arabic, English, and Hindi
• Proven ability to manage teams and achieve performance targets
• Excellent knowledge of supermarket floor operations and FMCG products
• Resourceful, proactive, and well-organized
• Ability to work independently and prepare detailed management reports
