WE ARE HIRING – AC TECHNICIAN

Position: AC Technician
Location: Doha, Qatar
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and reliable AC Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning and cooling systems across our facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various air-conditioning systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of AC units and related equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related faults.
• Check and repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, motors, fans, pumps, and other AC components.
• Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, and leak detection as required.
• Clean and maintain filters, coils, drain lines, and other AC components.
• Identify abnormal noises, temperature issues, water leakage, and other system problems.
• Carry out routine inspection and servicing to ensure efficient AC operation.
• Replace damaged or defective components when required.
• Conduct testing after repair and ensure systems are operating properly.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, and replaced parts.
• Respond promptly to AC breakdowns and maintenance requests.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Follow all applicable safety requirements and use appropriate PPE.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance staff when required.
• Perform other reasonable duties related to HVAC/AC maintenance as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as an AC/HVAC Technician, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Practical experience in AC installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components related to HVAC systems.
• Ability to identify and resolve AC faults efficiently.
• Ability to use basic testing and diagnostic tools.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a maintenance team.
• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime or emergency call-outs when required.
• Relevant technical certification or vocational training is an advantage.
• NOC/transferable visa is preferred, subject to applicable requirements.
