Document Controller cum Accounts

We are looking for an experienced Document Controller cum Accounts professional with experience in the Design & Fit-Out / Interior Design.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain complete project files and documentation, both electronically and physically.

Organize and update project documents including drawings, BOQs, RFIs, submittals, approvals, transmittals, contracts, POs, quotations, invoices, delivery notes, and correspondence.

Ensure proper document numbering, revision control, filing, tracking, and archiving of project records.

Handle day-to-day accounting, including AP/AR, invoices, receipts, payments, petty cash, and reconciliations.

Prepare quotations based on drawings, BOQs, material costs, labor, subcontractor rates, overheads, and profit margins.

Perform project cost analysis, including budget vs. actual cost, cost variances, and project profitability.

Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet supporting reports.

Analyze supplier/subcontractor quotations and prepare cost comparisons.

Monitor project expenses and assist with cost control and profitability analysis.

Coordinate with Project, Design, Estimation, Procurement, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and Clients.

Mandatory Requirements

at least 6 years of relevant experience in Design & Fit-Out / Interior Design.

Must have hands-on experience in:

Project documentation and file management

Cost analysis & project cost control

Quotation preparation

Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Supplier/subcontractor account handling

Document control

Strong MS Excel and accounting software skills.

Good understanding of BOQ, PO, invoices, delivery notes, subcontractor payments, and project costing.

Strong attention to detail, organization, coordination, and communication skills.
