HireRex Recruitment is looking for an experienced and certified Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) Crane Operator to support container terminal yard operations, including container stacking, retrieval, and movement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes for container stacking and retrieval.

• Perform safe and efficient container movements within the terminal yard.

• Ensure accurate execution of container moves through RDT/VMT systems.

• Follow approved crane operating procedures and safety guidelines.

• Ensure proper handling and positioning of containers.

• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any technical issues.

• Maintain operational productivity while following terminal safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Secondary School education.

• Valid RTG Crane Operator certification.

Requirements:

• Must meet CORP-PAI-STD-005, Appendix (B), competence requirements for lifting equipment operators.

• Valid RTG operator competency certification.

• Good knowledge of RTG operating procedures, safety devices, and container handling.

• Familiarity with RDT, handheld devices, and VMT systems.

• Physically capable of working at height and performing shift operations safely.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in container terminal operations.

• At least 3 years of experience as an RTG Crane Operator.

• Previous container terminal experience is mandatory.

• Candidates without container terminal experience will not be considered.
