We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in the Qatar local market. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the local market, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay up-to-date with market trends in Qatar.
· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and local businesses.
· Identify and approach potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting our products/services effectively.
· Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate the Qatar market and achieve sales targets.
· Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to clients, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of our products/services.
· Responding to RFQ/RFI’s within the requisite timeline
· Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both parties.
· Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify potential threats or opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
· Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to the management team.
· Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements in Qatar to ensure adherence to local laws and regulations.
Knowledge , Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
· Prefer candidates with dual Nationalities and Bilingual (Arabic & English)
· Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager or a similar role in Qatar, with a minimum of 8-10 years of work experience.
· In-depth knowledge of the Qatar local market, including key industries, competitors, and market dynamics.
· Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
· Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close sales, and achieve revenue targets.
· Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret market data to make informed business decisions.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
· Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
· Holds a valid Qatar Residency & Currently Resides in Qatar
· Holds a Valid Qatar Driving License
