LEAD WORKER/PERMIT HOLDER
Job Description / Responsibilities:
? The lead worker must be able to speak and write English proficiently to communicate with the permit issuer and team members on-site.
? Ensure a thorough understanding of relevant permits and regulations and maintain compliance with all permit requirements during work activities
? Coordinate with relevant departments or agencies to obtain permits and communicate permit conditions to applicable personnel.
? Enforce safety protocols and regulations within the team by conducting safety briefings and ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines.
? Conduct risk assessments for permitted work activities, identify potential hazards, and implement controls to mitigate risks.
? Monitors progress and reports on team performance. Ensures that tasks are completed according to specifications and timelines.
