We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled OpenText™ Media Management Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and functional leadership for OpenText™ Media Management projects for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Technical Skills:
• Manage and administer Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, preferably OpenText™ Media Management.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Handle databases such as SQL Server 2019 and PostgreSQL 12.X.
• Manage search technologies including Apache Solr and Zookeeper.
• Administer application and web servers like Tomcat/TomEE and Nginx.
• Manage message queues like RabbitMQ and JMS.
• Utilize transcoding tools such as FFMPEG.
• Administer directory services like OTDS.
• Configure and maintain reporting tools such as Magellan BI & Reporting.
• Operate on Windows Server 2019.
• Implement and manage clustering concepts for high availability and scalability
Application Management:
• Administer content management system functionalities including user management, permissions, and metadata management.
• Manage multiple applications including Tomcat, Nginx, Apache Solr Search, and DMTS in both single and clustering environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain applications for both minor and major updates.
• Troubleshoot application-related issues and optimize performance.
• Configure and manage third-party applications integrated with the main system, such as Apache Solr Search.
• Set up and maintain clustering environments for scalability and high availability.
• Implement solutions to troubleshoot technical problems in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Development Skills:
• Upgrade the AMP Tool to add features such as asset update/delete and metadata manipulation.
• Write controllers and implement specified features using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Develop APIs for creating RESTful web services to support application functionalities.
Communication and Training Skills:
• Articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical senior management, section heads, directors, and other stakeholders.
• Convey complex ideas, provide updates on project progress, and address concerns or questions.
• Provide end-user training effectively.
