We are looking for a skilled Procurement Officer with 3-5 years of experience in building materials and distribution. The ideal candidate will manage the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize sourcing for building materials.

Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to achieve the best value.

Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure competitive pricing and quality.

Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material needs and manage inventory levels.

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.

Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports on spending and supplier performance.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

3-5 years of procurement experience in building materials supply/ distribution.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Familiarity with construction industry standards and regulations.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
