Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Qatar

Salary Range: QR 6,000 to QR 7,000 (commensurate with experience)

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to lead our team of accountants. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting systems and processes, preparing monthly financial reports, managing the master data of the general ledger, and ensuring full compliance with state revenue regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and oversee the daily activities of the accounting team.

· Develop and implement effective accounting systems and processes.

· Reconcile income statements and generate monthly financial reports.

· Manage and control the master data of the general ledger.

· Review and authorize online banking payments.

· Ensure full compliance with state revenue service requirements.

· Provide continuous accounting and financial reporting support.

· Oversee the entire financial process, from start to finish.

· Prepare expense budget reports and manage budgetary controls.

Requirements:

· Master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting.

· Experience in auditing.

· Minimum 5 years of post-Article experience.

· Registration with a recognized statutory body or professional association.

· Professional certification in accounting.

· Full compliance as a certified tax practitioner.

· Experience in filing corporate tax returns.

· Proven ability to provide sound financial advice and guidance.
