Our focus is on providing a safe and engaging space for preschoolers to explore, learn, and grow through play-based activities and artistic expression. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Staff member to join our team.

Job Description:

We are looking for a warm and enthusiastic Assistant Staff member to support our educators in creating a fun and engaging learning environment for children aged 2 to 5 years. The ideal candidate will have experience working with early-age children and a flair for art and crafts that will inspire and engage our little learners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily activities that promote educational and developmental growth for preschoolers.

- Engage children in creative arts and crafts projects, fostering their creativity and fine motor skills.

- Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and learning.

- Supervise children during play and structured activities to ensure their safety and well-being.

- Support the development of social skills through interactive play and group activities.

- Communicate effectively with children, providing encouragement, instruction, and positive reinforcement.

- Help maintain a clean and organized learning space, including art supplies and educational materials.

- Collaborate with other staff members and contribute ideas to enhance the preschool curriculum.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with young children (ages 2-5) in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.

- Knowledge and enthusiasm for arts and crafts, and the ability to engage children in creative activities.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.

- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

- Must pass a background check in accordance with childcare regulations.
