Job Tite: Procurement Head
Location: Birkath,Qatar
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute the procurement strategy to align with the company’s business objectives. Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to ensure optimal performance.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
- Procurement Operations: Oversee and manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, selection, contract negotiation, purchasing, and order fulfillment. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Cost Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to drive cost savings and maximize value for the company. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Risk Management: Monitor and manage procurement risks related to supply chain disruptions, cost fluctuations, supplier reliability, and compliance with contracts. Develop contingency plans as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, R&D) to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities support business goals. Ensure timely delivery and quality of procured materials or services.
- Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers. Ensure that terms and conditions are favorable for the company and align with legal and regulatory standards.
- Budget and Forecasting: Prepare and manage procurement budgets. Monitor spending and ensure that the procurement function stays within budget while delivering the required goods and services.
- Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, supplier performance, and market trends to senior management. Utilize analytics to make data-driven decisions.
- Sustainability and Ethics: Ensure the procurement process adheres to ethical standards and sustainability goals, promoting responsible sourcing and environmentally friendly practices where possible.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of Qatar experience.
- Qatar driving license
