We are a leading veterinary center in Qatar, committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services to pets and their owners. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing team and contribute to the financial and procurement operations of our center.

Job Description

As a Senior Accountant, you will manage financial reporting, accounting tasks, and help oversee the procurement process. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and accounts.
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Oversee the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Handle procurement duties including managing vendor relationships, inventory, and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and financial accuracy.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors when required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (experience in Qatar is a plus).
• Solid knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Experience in procurement and vendor management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Salary:

QAR 3,500 – QAR 4,500 per month, depending on experience.
