The Collection Officer will be responsible for monitoring customer repayments, following up on overdue accounts, and ensuring effective debt recovery while maintaining a positive customer relationship. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, an understanding of financial regulations, and experience in collections or credit control.
Requirements
· Experience: 3-5 years in collections, debt recovery, credit control, or a related field in fintech, banking, or financial services.
· Start-Up Mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment typical of a startup, where roles may evolve, and innovation and adaptability are key.
· Skills: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
· Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and digital collection platforms.
· Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with BNPL, consumer lending, or financial risk management.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
