Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for managing all government-related documentation and liaising with relevant Qatari authorities to ensure full legal and regulatory compliance. The role requires hands-on experience with immigration, labor, and corporate documentation processes in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with Qatar government entities including Ministry of Interior (MOI), Ministry of Labor, MOCI, CID, and other relevant authorities.
Process and manage visas, work permits, residence permits, QID issuance/renewals, and exit permits.
Handle company registrations, renewals, amendments, and trade license-related documentation.
Manage employee medicals, fingerprinting, contract attestation, and related formalities.
Coordinate document attestation with embassies and government offices.
Ensure timely renewal of commercial registrations, immigration cards, and establishment IDs.
Maintain accurate records and tracking of all government-related documents and deadlines.
Stay updated with Qatar labor laws, immigration rules, and government procedures.
Support HR and Admin teams with compliance and employee onboarding/offboarding processes.
Act as the primary liaison for government ministries, ensuring smooth interactions and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage applications for permits, licenses, and approvals, leading to timely processing and resolution of issues.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key government contacts to support business operations.
Advise senior management on regulatory changes and best practices for engaging with government bodies.
Oversee office administration tasks including document management, mail handling, and employee record-keeping.
Streamline recruitment processes by coordinating interviews, managing schedules, and processing termination documentation.

Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 2-4 years (Qatar experience mandatory)
Strong working knowledge of Qatar labor law and immigration processes.
Hands-on experience with Metrash2 and government portals.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Valid Qatar is an advantage.
