PLANNING ENGINEER

? Duration: 6 months extendable
?? Candidate must be in Qatar with valid QID
?? Preferred to candidates who can join immediately
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in water, desalination, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Strong experience in baseline preparation and progress updating.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
Good knowledge of project scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting.
Candidates with Qatar/GCC project experience will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain the project baseline schedule in line with project requirements.
Regularly update project progress and monitor actual vs. planned performance.
Track project milestones, activities, delays, and critical paths.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and schedule updates.
Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to collect progress data.
Identify schedule deviations and support the development of recovery plans.
Monitor manpower, resources, and overall project performance against the approved baseline.
