Job Title – FA/FF Engineer (Electronics / Instrumentation)

INTRODUCTION

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a FA/FF certificate and experience, presently located in Qatar and available for immediate employment. Civil defense registered certificate holders for Fire protection system are preferred.

Experience – Minimum 5 years experience in Qatar

Job Description:

·         Design fire alarm and fire suppression systems based on project requirements, building codes, and regulations.

·         Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of fire safety systems into building designs.

·         Oversee the installation process, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.

·         Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of fire alarm and suppression systems to ensure proper functionality.

·         Perform system inspections and verification tests to verify compliance with regulatory requirements.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or deficiencies identified during testing and commissioning.

·         Develop and implement maintenance schedules for fire alarm and suppression systems.

·         Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.

·         Respond promptly to service calls and emergency situations to diagnose and repair system malfunctions.

Requirements

·         Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

·         Professional certification or licensure in fire protection engineering or a related discipline UPDA with civil defense approved certificate holder preferred.

·         Proven experience in designing, installing, and maintaining fire alarm and suppression systems.

·         Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, standards, and regulations

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·         Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and regulatory authorities.
