Job Summary:
Automech Mechanical Engineering Co. WLL. in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Handler to manage our online presence and engage our audience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling video content on a daily basis, expertly editing these videos, and strategically posting them across various social media platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent video production and editing skills, and the ability to work independently and efficiently. In addition to core video responsibilities, there may be opportunities to contribute to other small marketing and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Daily Video Creation: Conceptualize, film, and produce engaging video content that aligns with our brand and marketing objectives.
- Video Editing: Professionally edit raw video footage to create high-quality, polished videos optimized for various social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Videos).
- Social Media Management: Schedule and post video content across multiple social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) ensuring timely and consistent uploads.
- Platform Optimization: Understand the nuances of each social media platform and tailor content and posting strategies accordingly.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant.
- Basic Graphic Design (Optional): Create simple visual assets (e.g., thumbnails, basic graphics) to accompany video posts.
- Community Engagement (Optional): Monitor social media channels for comments and messages and engage with our audience in a timely and professional manner.
- Performance Tracking (Optional): Assist in tracking and reporting on social media performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Other Small Tasks (As Required): Assist with other ad-hoc marketing or administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in creating, filming, and editing videos for social media platforms.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Filmora, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, CapCut). Please specify any software proficiency you require.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent visual storytelling and creative skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop).
- Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.
