Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly as they enter the cake shop and provide assistance with their inquiries and purchases.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, offering personalized recommendations and suggestions.
Effectively communicate information about cake flavors, designs, and customization options to customers.
Take orders from walk-in customers, as well as through calls, WhatsApp, or delivery apps, ensuring accurate recording of customer details and preferences.
Manage customized cake orders from initial inquiry to delivery, ensuring clear communication with customers throughout the process.
Follow up with customers to confirm order details, provide updates on order progress, and ensure customer satisfaction upon delivery or pickup.
Collaborate with other team members, especially cake decorators, to clarify customer ideas and needs and ensure accurate execution of custom cake designs.
Process payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cake shop, including display cases, countertops, and customer seating areas.
Restock cakes, pastries, and other merchandise as needed to ensure availability for customers.
Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary.
Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
