As an accountant, your primary responsibility is to manage financial records, prepare financial statements, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You'll play a crucial role in helping us maintain accurate financial records and make informed financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll records.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a regular basis to provide an accurate overview of the organization's financial position.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets and forecasts by analyzing past financial data and identifying trends to predict future financial performance.
Auditing: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits of financial transactions and ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulations.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and potential risks.
Financial Planning and Strategy: Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making and achieve organizational goals.
Financial Software and Systems: Utilize accounting software and other financial management tools to streamline processes, automate tasks, and maintain accurate financial records.
Compliance and Regulation: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure the organization's financial practices remain in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2-4years of experience in the field.
Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) may be preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
